At FBMDC we challenge each student to be the best dancer they can be in a supportive, encouraging and nuturing environment. We do not believe in teaching through intimidation and believe a positive, inclusive and safe class environment is the best launching pad for creating disciplined, talented dancers who have fun at dancing and develop a deep seated love of dance!

Miss Charli established FUNKY BUTTS MODERN DANCE CENTRE at the beginning of 2005 as she wanting to provide fun, unique, safe, professional dance classes for children. What started out as one class in Concord has grown to many more classes in 5 locations due to the encouraging and unique teaching style of our teachers. Funky Butts Modern Dance Centre classes are focused on students becoming the best dancer's they can be while having as much fun as possible! Respect for others is a big priority at Funky Butts Modern Dance Centre and as such bitchiness and prima donna behaviour are not accepted but having fun and developing a love for dance are highly encouraged!

Since 2005 our students have improved in leaps and bounds receiving amazing results in examinations and competitions proof of the patient, nuturing yet challenging teaching style of the staff at Funky Butts pushing each student to be the best dancer they can be while encouraging them to have a lot of fun on the way!
